Knightsbridge Village hosted members of Trim Active Retirement and Crossakiel Young at Heart for an afternoon garden party & music in Trim on Wednesday 12^th May.

Despite the mixed weather outside, the guests were treated to a Summer themed afternoon, which started with a Pimms cocktail upon arrival at Knightsbridge Village Hall. Following a warm & enthusiastic welcome by Mark Hennessy, Marketing Manager, the visitors were entertained by Paud Griffin who kept everyone on their feet with some great music throughout the afternoon. A tour of the Independent Living apartments & bungalows at Knightsbridge also took place followed by more music, in the form of an impromptu duet between Paud Griffin & Matt Gilsenan to accompany the tea, coffee and cupcakes.

Before the groups departed, they gathered in the garden for a planting ceremony held in glorious sunshine to mark the occasion of their visit. Ted Murtagh also thanked Knightsbridge Village on behalf of both groups for a most enjoyable afternoon.
