Minister Harney announces Fair Deal to start from 27th October

Mary Harney T.D., the Minister for Health & Children, today announced that the long-awaited Fair Deal Nursing Homes Support Scheme, will come into operation from 27th October. Further to that announcement, it was also announced that those who wish to be appointed as a care representative for those with diminished capacity, can do so as from today, 5th October by application to the Circuit Court.If you require an application form or booklet regarding the scheme, please feel free to email us at care@barchester.ie
