Care for Older People

Care for Older People

We are here to listen
We understand that making the choice to move into a nursing home is often one of the most important decisions that families may have to make. That is why we will do everything we can to support you, taking the time to listen to your needs and concerns and providing you with the relevant information to make the right decision for you.

Our experience
We have more than fourteen years' experience of providing care services which constitute not only delivering twenty-four hour quality nursing care, consisting of professionally trained and registered nurses and experienced care assistants; but also an extremely high standard of accommodation, an extensive and personally-tailored menu and personal care services.

Interest and variety
What is central to our ideals of nursing care provision is the concept of socialisation, both within and outside of the nursing home. With this in mind, we offer an extensive variety of activities as part of our care for older people programme, ranging from trips out in one of our mini-buses, through to music therapy, pet therapy, exercise classes and more. For those that enjoy gardening the home is set in 15 acres of mature gardens including raised beds and a poly tunnel for the residents to tend to, all of which is arranged and managed by our full-time activities co-ordinator.

Most importantly however, is the idea that what you choose to participate in is your choice, and our regular residents meetings ensure that activities, both internal and external, meet the needs of residents, whilst providing interest and variety.
