Acquired Brain Injury

Delivering independence, choice and opportunity
We understand that the needs of younger people with a disability or those with an acquired brain injury are significantly different from those of older people. Our services are dedicated to providing the required support for people to regain their maximum potential for independence, choice and opportunity.
Our experience
We have more than fourteen years' experience of providing care services to younger residents, constituting not only the delivery of quality twenty-four hour nursing care, with professionally trained and registered nurses and experienced care assistants; but also an extremely high standard of accommodation, specifically geared towards the needs of younger people, as well as extensive and personally-tailored menus and personal care services.
Enhancing self-perception
With this in mind, we aim to provide a seamless spectrum of provision from intensive post-hospital rehabilitation, to long-term supported living in our assisted living or independent living communities. We carefully recruit and train staff to meet the very specific needs of these residents and place great emphasis on developing a social as well as a physical rehabilitation programme, in order to enhance social skills and self-perceptions.
