Minimum Requirements

* Royal College of Nursing recommends 3.86 direct care hours per resident per day(Source: Age Action Cost of Care Report 2007). INHO Survey 2006 found average of 2.4hrs per person per day nationwide. Knightsbridge provides >4hrs pppd.

+ Current spatial requirement under 1990 Act & 1993 Regulations. New requirements under HIQA = 4m2 combined (day and dining). Knightsbridge provides >6m2 and >3m2 respectively.

± Current room size requirement. New requirement under HIQA = 12.5m2. Knightsbridge provides >18m2(excl ensuite).
